TEHRAN British police on Friday night, in an unexpected move, stopped the screening of a documentary on conditions in British prisons.

Reporters and families of the inmates were in attendance when the police raided the cinema and stopped the screening of the film.

The film **** Injustice **** documents the death of a number of Black inmates in British prisons and the difficult living conditions of family members they left behind.

London radio stations repeatedly announced that the film would be screened in a cinema in the center of London and the announcements seem to have attracted the attention of the police who later stopped the screening of the film.

The filmmakers said that *** Injustice ** had been screened once before at a small festival, adding that the temporary ban imposed on Friday night was illegal and that they would pursue the case.

One of the directors, Tariq Mahmoud, said that during the five years it took to make the film they learned of many deaths in British prisons, more than what they expected. He said that they even came across cases of murder.

As a whole, the two directors said, there is silence over the deaths in British prisons and the film aims to break the silence and tell the truth for the first time.

They both said that British television networks and cinemas are reluctant to buy the film and show no interest in it. The directors have not agreed to censor any parts of the film.
